We are currently recruiting for a Senior Financial Lines Claims Adjuster on behalf of our client, a highly regarded London Market insurer.
The successful candidate will resolve high exposure financial lines claims with complex issues in particular a focus on primary Construction PI claims with some broader exposure to D&O and Financial Institutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining accurate claims records, supporting credit control processes, and producing management reports.
- Investigating high exposure domestic and international claims involving complex issues and / or litigation.
- Negotiating and resolving high exposure, complex claims.
- Reporting and presenting complex claims information internally and externally.
- Liaising with other departments on market initiatives, and attending industry functions.
Key Requirements
- Expert understanding of professional indemnity (particularly construction professional indemnity), wordings, terms, conditions, and coverage.
- Mastery of the claims handling process from notification to settlement.
- Robust knowledge of reserving principles and practices, along with a strong understanding of coinsurance and reinsurance applications.
- Proficient in relevant legal processes and procedures.
- Experience in applying artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) to improve business processes.
