We are currently recruiting for a 6 month FTC Operations Assistant (Triage) on behalf of our client, a very well-established and highly regarded London Market Insurer.
The successful candidate will support multiple teams and be responsible for all aspects triaging and processing related to reinsurance transactions in our risk and accounting systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Working closely with underwriting and finance teams.
- Analysing and processing all bordereau cases for proportional team.
- Working with proportional/non-proportional teams, claims teams, as well as cash teams to resolve issues related to triaging, proportional accounts, and cash.
- Providing regular updates to team and managers.
- Assisting in creating efficiencies and value creation (reviewing existing processing and propose updates/changes as appropriate).
- Ensuring all functions are carried out with a high degree of quality, in a timely manner.
Key Requirements
- High School diploma required; University degree preferred.
- Solid IT skills (Excel, Word).
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to handle a variety of duties in a timely and accurate manner.
- Efficient problem-solving skills and ability to analyse and process complex accounts and transactions.
- Strong communication skills.
- Insurance experience preferred.
- Team player with the ability to work across multiple teams.
