We are currently recruiting for a Claims Operations Technician on behalf of our client, a highly regarded Lloyd's Syndicate.
The successful candidate will support the resolution of claim data quality issues, and monitor the end-to-end processing across all market platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with the resolution of claim data quality issues, and ensuring timely receipt of claims data and tracking of end-to-end processing on market platforms.
- Assisting with the onboarding and due diligence process for new delegated claims administrators (DCA).
- Assisting with the coordination of delegated claims audits, technical claims peer reviews and following up on DCA actions.
- Provision and presentation of management information to internal stakeholders. Assisting with the collation and validation of claims data for regulatory reporting.
- Monitoring of loss fund balances, including assessment of adequate funding and identification of reconciliation issues.
- Liaising with claims and wider business stakeholders to gain complete understanding of risks and challenges associated with outsource claims arrangements.
- Assisting with the delivery of clear and effective remediation plans and drive resolutions.
- Ensuring key technology systems are operating efficiently.
- Minuting of monthly claims working group meetings.
Key Requirements
- 1-3 years of working in a similar role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Confident to interact with all levels of staff within the business, and external stakeholders.
- Ability to manage own workload and prioritise tasks.
- Proficient in the use of Excel, Word and Power Point.
- A desire to work towards the CII qualifications.
- An interest in exploring AI solutions to drive efficiencies.
